Da Vinci Tools To Be Acquired by Supermetrics!
When I thought about retiring Da Vinci Tools, I didn't suspect there would be such a great level of support.
After discussing with a couple of interested parties, I have come to an agreement with the great team at Supermetrics.
You probably know them as the provider of several connectivity tools and there's a great fit with Da Vinci Tools. So it will go on, all features will be free, they will continue to develop & support it and I will play an active advocacy role for Supermetrics.

GTM: Keyboard Shortcut for "Save"
It would save some time if I could just click CTLR + S (or CMD + S) and Tag's/Trigger's/Variable's settings would be saved. Now, I have to move my mouse every time to the top right corner of the window.

I haven't implemented the cascading Save yet, but if you press ctrl+shift+1st letter of button you now have shortcuts for every active button.

Data Studio User management
To be able to manage users in the same way that you can with GTM and GA.

Sadly, it's impossible to do something like this since there's no API to manage DS users.
Users under DS are managed like other documents under Google Docs.

Reverse transaction doesn't work
Hello! I have problem with reverse transaction in analytics. I would like to refund some transactions, but it doesnt work. it's still loading on "Creating measurement protocol hit" stage. For measure transaction I use standard ecommerce. Thanks!

Add checkboxes for QA in GTM to show that you have checked a tag, trigger or variable before publishing.
Just when reviewing changes that someone else has made or when reviewing your own changes, it's difficult to keep track of what you've checked and what you haven't. This would help with the QA process.

I will gradually continue to improve the rich annotation feature so it will be possible to add a "status" annotation with a flag (icon/color) about anywhere you want.

Conditional style formatting in datastudio
To me datastudio is currently lacking proper conditional formating of metrics.
Is it possible to fix this with da vinci tools. It would be great for some metrcis to have the basic possibility to maken the color of numbers red for negatives and green for positives for example.

Done!
Whenever a string of the format ${font-awesome icon} is found in a dimension, it will be replaced with its corresponding icon. It's not quite conditional formatting, but with calculated fields, you can use icons in a similar way.
So something like ${far fa-grin-tongue-wink fa-2x} will be replaced by the grin-tongue-wink smiley.
Cool isn't it! :)
